Abstract Background and Aims Urinary tract infections (UTI) are the most common of after renal transplantation with an estimated incidence between 10 98%. Recurrent urinary (rUTIs) increase mortality reduce graft survival transplantation. The present case describes immunization strategy against bacterial strains kidney Method We administered vaccine for prophylaxis rUTIs A transplant recipient 3 or more UTI episodes/year underwent subcutaneous injections (once a week) inactivated bacteria-StroVac (follow-up 12 months before to immunization). StroVac contains bacteria (6 types Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Morganella morganii, Enterococcus feacalis, Klebsiella pneumoniae). year later Booster was once. Urine culture analysis given every year. Clinical laboratory comparisons were made. results evaluated statistically.
